PlantScan is a plant diagnosis support and care tracking app designed to help identify issues, apply concrete actions, and track progress over time.

If you are under 16 (or the legal age in your country), you are not authorized to use PlantScan.

• Account: email, hashed password, first name (optional).
• Plant content: photos, species, symptoms, care notes, reminder settings.
• Usage: interactions and usage stats (pseudonymized/aggregated when possible).
• Technical: device, OS, app version, technical identifiers, logs/crash (if enabled).
• Notifications: permission status + push token.

• Deliver probable diagnosis and action plans.
• Organize reminders and plant follow-up.
• Improve experience and performance.
• Ensure security and prevent abuse.

• Contractual necessity (TOS execution).
• Legitimate interest (security, product improvement).
• Explicit consent (notably for uploaded photos/content), which can be withdrawn at any time.

PlantScan relies on trusted processors for infrastructure, analytics, and subscriptions (Supabase, PostHog, Looker Studio, RevenueCat). They act under PlantScan instructions and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. PlantScan never sells personal data.

• Account and content: while the account is active.
• Technical and analytics data: limited retention periods.
• Account deletion: deletion/anonymization within 30 days max.

When processors operate outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards are implemented (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

You may request access, correction, deletion, limitation, objection, or portability, and withdraw consent.
